Kirax

Time god of Noovis. He ensures the continued march of time and represents inevitability - not destiny based on the will of individual gods, but the inevitability of change brought on by time. Legend has it that he visits the planet occasionally to sit upon his earthly throne on the volcano Rassmiz. Kirax chose this spot on the planet as it is one of the only "active" volcanoes left from when the planet was created. The lava represents the change from new to old. Lava to rock, rock to dirt, dirt to lush plants and trees.

The followers of this order preach the philosophy of patience to the flock and help all members adapt to their changing bodies, lifestyles, and needs as they go through life. This is why Kirax chose this specific location for his followers to settle. Just as the humans adapt to change so does the planet from the ever spewing volcano of Rassmiz. There are other followers of Kirax in the world and only small differences between them. (i.e. different animals for rituals, different colored robes, etc.) But all clerics of this order carry the scythe or sickle and use the hourglass as their symbol. One of the requirements when first joining his priesthood is that one must venture to the mainland. Conversions aren't required but they definitely don't hurt. A cleric of this order must understand all types of worshippers, provide guidance, and to understand as much as possible. If this priest still feels strongly about Kirax after encountering different faiths, then he is worthy of climbing the ladder into the priesthood that follow Kirax.
